About eCurrency
Preserving Sovereign Currency in the Digital Era

Why eCurrency?
eCurrency develops secure infrastructure that enables central banks to issue and manage central bank digital currency (CBDC) as legal tender alongside notes and coins. Our technology supports sovereign monetary systems in an increasingly digital global economy.
Built for Central Banks
Our platform is designed specifically for central bank environments, enabling digital fiat currency to operate alongside notes and coins while preserving the principles that govern sovereign money.
Secure by Design
The eCurrency platform integrates hardware, software, and advanced cryptographic protocols to create a secure digital bearer instrument capable of operating at national scale.
Proven Global Engagement
Since 2012, eCurrency has worked with central banks across multiple regions to evaluate, design, and implement CBDC infrastructure aligned with national monetary policy and regulatory frameworks.
Our Technology
Secure Infrastructure for Central Bank Digital Currency
eCurrency pioneered one of the first end-to-end systems designed specifically for central bank digital currency issuance and circulation. The platform integrates hardware, software, and cryptographic security protocols to enable central banks to securely create, distribute, and manage digital fiat currency.
Built around the company’s Digital Symmetric Core Currency Cryptography (DSC³) technology, the system allows digital currency to function as a secure digital bearer instrument that can operate alongside existing payment systems and physical cash.
The platform is designed to support large-scale national deployment while preserving privacy protections and maintaining the operational frameworks central banks rely on.

Global CBDC Advisory and Technology Deployment
eCurrency continues working with central banks across multiple regions to evaluate, design, and implement sovereign digital currency infrastructure.
Our Approach
Unlike private digital currencies or unregulated digital assets, CBDC must operate within the legal and operational frameworks that govern sovereign money.
eCurrency’s approach reflects this reality.
Our infrastructure mirrors the principles that define physical currency issuance:
-
Security against counterfeiting
-
Central bank oversight and control
-
Interoperability with existing financial systems
-
Privacy protection by design
By combining modern cryptographic security with the operational discipline of central banking, eCurrency enables digital currency systems that are both innovative and institutionally sound.
Global Experience
eCurrency has worked with central banks around the world to evaluate, design, and implement central bank digital currency systems.
Since 2012, the company has engaged with more than seventy five central banks exploring CBDC development and implementation strategies.
These collaborations span multiple regions and focus on enabling secure, scalable digital currency infrastructure aligned with national monetary policy and regulatory frameworks.
